Professor Shi Gang's research findings on Q550 and Q690 high-strength steel have been incorporated into the 2023 edition of the Hong Kong Code of Practice for the Structural Use of Steel. The Hong Kong Institute of Steel Construction has confirmed the adoption and expressed appreciation to Professor Shi Gang for his contributions to the code revision.
